The Home Improvement and Home Elevation Contractor Licensing Act, P.L.2023 c.237, was approved on January 8, 2024. It creates the New Jersey State Board of Home Improvement and Home Elevation Contractors, and its licensing, education and examination sections take effect on the first day of the twenty fifth month after enactment, which is February 1, 2026.
