All six of the township's active combined sewer outfalls sit on the western, Meadowlands side at 91st, 69th, 61st, 43rd, 29th and 11th Streets, emptying into Bellman Creek, Cromakill Creek and Penhorn Creek with treatment by the Passaic Valley Sewerage Commissioners. So a back slope basement can take combined sewer water, which is contaminated and means the soaked porous material leaves the building, while a ridge address with the same puddle is usually looking at a clean water dry-out that most of the room survives.
